Almost 4900 objects restored in de-occupied Kherson region

Almost 4,893 objects destroyed by the Russians have been restored in the liberated territories of Kherson region. These include residential buildings, schools, hospitals, and critical infrastructure.
According to Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, the state has allocated significant funds for reconstruction, and the government's eRestoration initiative has given people the opportunity to receive compensation for damaged or destroyed property.

Under this program, residents of the Kherson region have already received more than UAH 2 billion. Thousands of families have been able to restore their homes or buy new ones.
"Kherson region suffers from Russian shelling every day. Nevertheless, we are making every effort to ensure that the process of restoring the region does not stop," the official said.
More than 30,000 civilian objects in Kherson region have been damaged or destroyed by Russian armed aggression. The residential sector has suffered the most, accounting for almost 95% of the total destruction. Enemy shells damaged 27,600 private homes and 1,200 high-rise buildings.
In addition, the Kherson region is among the ten regions where cultural heritage sites have suffered the most due to Russian aggression. According to the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, in July the total number of affected sites increased by 11. Currently, 1096 cultural heritage sites have been damaged. Of these, 121 are of national importance, 892 are of local importance, and 83 are newly discovered. Repeated shelling of previously damaged monuments took place in the Dnipro region, and new damage was recorded in the Kherson, Kharkiv and Sumy regions.
