The former deputy head of the Kherson Regional State Administration has joined Kim's team

Olga Malyarchuk, who served as deputy head of the Kherson Regional State Administration under Oleksandr Prokudin, has been appointed to a new position at the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, which is headed by Vitaliy Kim.
This information comes from a decree issued by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
Along with Malyarchuk, advisors Viktoria Oliinyk and Neli Yarovenko, as well as the former head of the social services department of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, Oleksandra Kukuruza, have joined the ministry’s new team.
Since 2020, Olga Malyarchuk has served as an advisor to Vitaliy Kim, then head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration .
In March 2023, she took up the position of deputy head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration. There, she was responsible for defense and civil protection, specifically overseeing efforts to address the aftermath of the bombing of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant.
Now her career path has once again crossed with Vitaliy Kim’s —he has become head of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, and Olga Malyarchuk has become his deputy.
Olga Malyarchuk was born on December 25, 1985, in Mykolaiv. Before joining the government, she was involved in volunteer work and headed the Serhiy Prytula Foundation in Mykolaiv.
Among her civic initiatives:
- the creation of “Oberig,” an organization for mothers and wives of military personnel;
- leading the Center for Assistance to ATO Participants under the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.
Olga Malyarchuk was a member of the “European Solidarity” party and ran for a seat in the Verkhovna Rada in 2019 in the 128th electoral district in the Mykolaiv region. In September 2020, she left the party.
