Dnipro mayor curses ex-head of Odesa district council

Dnipro Mayor Borys Filatov used obscene language against the former head of the Odesa District Council Vitaliy Barvinenko, commenting on the deputy's post.

In his post, Vitaliy Barvinenko accused the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, of intending to transfer electric transport from Odesa to Dnipro.

"While Odesa is left without electricity and electric transport, the head of the OVA, Oleh Kiper, is helping Dnipro with electric transport, as the city's mayor, Borys Filatov, announced today," Vitaliy Barvinenko wrote.

He also stated that Oleh Kiper had dismissed Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov.

In turn, Borys Filatov accused the MP of lying and demanded that he not be dragged into the "mayoral showdown."

"Barvinenko, you're a p.o.s.t. Leave your mayoral showdowns to yourself and leave me out of it. I never said that Kiper was helping me with electric vehicles. You are deliberately, brazenly lying. Kiper, like dozens of other officials, called and offered to help. For example, with repair crews and asked to help Odesa from Dnipro in case of the next shelling. A normal human conversation," the mayor wrote.

Earlier, Borys Filatov did indeed write that Oleh Kiper had offered help. "At 15:00 we will launch electric transport and the subway. Additional words of gratitude to Oleg Kiper and the Serhiy Prytula Foundation for their offers.
