Court overturns ban on party co-chaired by Odesa MP

The Supreme Court upheld the appeal of the Nash Krai political party and canceled the decision to ban the political force.
The relevant court ruling was published on the party's website.
"Guided by Articles 289-3, 308, 315, 317 of the Code of Administrative Procedure of Ukraine, the Court decided: to satisfy the appeal of the Nash Krai political party; to cancel the decision of the Eighth Administrative Court of Appeal of June 19, 2024; to adopt a new court decision in the case, which dismisses the claim. The resolution comes into force from the date of its adoption and is not subject to appeal," the text of the document, dated July 1, reads.
The Nash Krai party noted that the accusations against the party for its allegedly pro-Russian and anti-state position were recognized by the court as groundless and illegal.
A court ruling banned the activities of the Nash Krai political party in Ukraine in June 2024. One of its leaders was Anton Kisse, an MP from Odesa region. He has not yet commented on the court's decision.
"Nash Krai" is a political party in Ukraine, created mainly from members of the previously banned pro-Russian Party of Regions. It was officially registered in 2011 under the name "Blokovaya Party", but three years later it was renamed "Nash Krai". The party's leaders were Anton Kisse, Serhiy Shakhov and Oleksandr Mazurchak.
After the ban on Nash Krai was lifted, 17 political forces remain banned in Ukraine: Opposition Bloc, Socialists, Party of Justice and Development, Nashi, Derzhava, Bloc of Volodymyr Saldo, Socialist Party of Ukraine, Left Opposition, Shariy's Party, Union of Left Forces, Opposition Platform - For Life, Progressive Socialist Party of Ukraine, United Russia, Happy Ukraine, Communist Party of Ukraine, Workers' Party of Ukraine (Marxist-Leninist), and the Party of Regions.
