The secretary of the Izmail City Council, Yevhen Pundyk, said that he considers the current government to be fascist and illegitimate.
On November 13, the secretary of the Izmail City Council, Yevhen Pundyk, resigned, Dumskaya reported.
The politician told reporters that he made this decision as a member of the team of former Odesa Oblast Governor Eduard Matviychuk, who was dismissed on November 8.
"There is the decision of the country's leadership and the decision of the ex-governor's team, which includes me, that we are resigning as a whole," he said. - "In the near future, I will submit a letter of resignation from the office of the Secretary of the City Council. I have informed the mayor of Izmail, Andriy Abramchenko, about this."
Pundik could not say who will become the new secretary of the city council. The mayor of the city, Andriy Abramchenko, also did not name any candidates, only promised to "make every effort to maintain stability in the political life of Izmail."
On April 16, 2020, it became known that the Izmail Airport utility company would not receive a subvention of UAH 70 million.
This was due to the fact that on April 13, the Parliament passed a law amending the State Budget of Ukraine for 2020.
According to Ukrainian MP Anatoliy Urbanskyi, the law was amended to allow the issue to be reconsidered after the quarantine is over. He wrote about this on his Facebook page.
"To all the skeptics and those who are just worried about the airport, I want to remind you that the state has funded the development of design and estimate documentation, and this process does not stop. So as soon as the situation changes for the better, I will raise the issue of allocating funding for the airport again," the MP promised.
As a reminder, in the summer of 2019, Izmail Airport started a major overhaul, which was scheduled to be completed last year. Last fall, the airport received a land plot of almost 0.6 hectares for permanent use.
In March of this year, Odesa Regional Council announced a tender to select a contractor to improve the territory of the Izmail Airport.
