The sole deputy mayor of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi has resigned

Andriy Kryshchopov, deputy mayor of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi in the Odesa region, has resigned voluntarily.

This was reported to Intentu by the city council secretary, Oleksandr Skalozub, who is currently serving as acting mayor.

He explained that the deputy resigned voluntarily. Andriy Kryshtopov was the only deputy mayor of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, so the position is now vacant.

Andriy Kryshchopov succeeded Oleksandr Skalozub as deputy, taking over from Vitaliy Hrazhdan, for whom he had also served as the sole deputy since the fall of 2020. Andriy Kryshchopov served as a city council member for two terms, and until 2020 worked as the head of the Odesa regional branch of the State Enterprise “Center for the State Land Cadastre.” He was a member of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi City Council during its 7th and 8th terms.

In his 2025 declaration, Andriy Kryshchopov reported acquiring ownership of a land plot that same year, as well as owning a residential house and a beauty salon—all located in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi. He owns two passenger cars, a truck, and a trailer. His wife owns half of the private enterprise “Center for Design and Privatization.” However, regarding income, the now-former mayor listed only his salary of 844,900 hryvnias. Andriy Kryshtopov has 600,000 hryvnias in savings, and his wife Natalia has 200,000. Andriy Kryshtopov also has 8.5 in a bank account.

In May 2024, police officers and agents of the Security Service of Ukraine detained the wife of the deputy mayor of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, the deputy mayor himself, an official of the Mologiv Village Council in the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi District, and a former member of that council. The publication “Dumska”reported at the time that the detained deputy mayor was Andriy Kryshchopov.
