This was reported by Intent.
According to the decision No. 58 of January 23, in 2026, the cost of meals for primary school students in municipal general secondary education institutions of Izmail will be UAH 90 per student per school day.

A separate decision of the executive committee set the cost of meals for privileged students in grades 5-11, as well as students of the specialized sports class of Izmail gymnasium No. 9, at UAH 95 per day.
The privileged categories include, in particular:
- orphans and children deprived of parental care
- children with special educational needs who study in inclusive classes;
- children from families of war veterans;
- internally displaced children and children affected by military operations;
- students of specialized sports classes.
All of these categories receive meals free of charge.
Meals in kindergartens
Also on January 23, the executive committee adopted decision No. 60, which established new fees for meals for children in municipal preschool educational institutions of the Izmail community for 2026.
The cost of three meals a day will be as follows:
- UAH 94.10 - for children aged 1 to 3 years
- UAH 95.01 - for children aged 3 to 4 years;
- UAH 121.47 for children aged 4 to 6 years.
The parental fee is set at 100% of the cost of meals, but there are benefits for certain categories: 75% - for families where one or both parents are officially employed in Izmail; 50% - for families of Defenders of Ukraine, as well as for families with many children.
A number of categories of children are provided with free meals in preschool educational institutions, including children with disabilities, children with special educational needs, orphans, children from low-income families, IDPs and war victims.
Parents pay only for the actual days of attendance. Fees will not be charged in case of illness, quarantine or summer vacation.
In early January, Pervomaisk also discussed changes to the budget for 2026. The main focus was on ensuring timely payment of salaries to teachers and financing of pupils' meals.
