The acting head of the Odessa City Executive Committee failed to declare his wife's income

Oleksandr Tykhovskyi, former deputy mayor of Odesa and chief of staff of the executive committee, resubmitted the declaration that officials are required to file before leaving office.

The document, published by the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption, is marked “corrected.”

   The difference from the declaration Oleksandr Tykhovskyi previously submitted is the addition of information regarding his wife’s income for the period from January 1 to July 28, 2026. This amounts to 225,700 hryvnias, which Daria Tykhovska earned at the Consultative and Diagnostic Center No. 20 in Odesa. Other sources of income include: Oleksandr Tykhovsky’s salary for this period—715,400 hryvnias; social benefits for his wife—42,700 hryvnias; and 7,287 hryvnias in interest from the former deputy mayor’s bank deposit.

Oleksandr Tykhovskyi, the administrative director of the Odesa City Council’s Executive Committee, was officially dismissed from his position on August 11. He had been dismissed on July 28, 2026, by mutual agreement. The basis for his dismissal was a statement submitted by Tykhovskyi himself. 

Oleksandr Tykhovskyi had worked within the Odesa City Council for a long time. In November 2025, he became acting chief of staff of the executive committee after leaving his position as director of the city council’s organizational department.

He was appointed to the position of director of the department on October 4, 2023, by former Odesa MayorHennadiy Trukhanovwithout a competitive selection process. Previously, in 2022, he headed the City Council’s Department of Culture and Tourism.

The Center for Public Investigations analyzed Oleksandr Tykhovsky’s 2025 financial disclosure statement. According to the document, the official declared two apartments,an Audi A5, and income received while working at the Odesa City Council.
