The NGO Tribe and the community space Na Chasie (For the Time Being) admitted 15 people to the School of Good Governance, which opened on March 27.
An Intent correspondent observed the opening.
The selection was carried out by an independent expert jury, and the school participants included veterans, volunteers, young people, public figures and government officials.
The author of the program concept was MP Oleksandr Slavskyi, who noted during the opening that the School consists of four modules lasting several days, and that participants will begin to work on their own development or reform projects during the course of their studies. The last module is planned to be held in Kyiv or Lviv.
"The main idea is to create a talent pool of people with values who understand what they need to do," the MP said.
Ihor Koval, acting mayor of Odesa, agreed with him, noting that the school should train people who are not only motivated to change but also understand how management processes work.
In winter, the forum "Media Literacy and Digital Safety of Children and Adolescents. Prevention and Protection" was held in Odesa on January 16. And in May 2025, the editorial board of Intent completed the training of the first intake of students of its media school. In May 2025, certificates were awarded to graduates who completed the full course of study. The Intent Media School was an educational project created to train new media professionals focused on working in local and regional media. It combines theoretical classes with practical training in the newsroom itself, allowing participants to feel part of the journalistic profession. Participation in the school was free of charge, which was an additional incentive for young people who want to find themselves in the media world.
