Kherson has approved plans for the work of the Department of Municipal Economy for 2026 under the program "Other activities in the field of housing and communal services". The total amount of funding for the city's utilities exceeds UAH 101 million.
This is evidenced by the order of the head of Kherson MVA Yaroslava Shanko.
Among the key funding items:
- Ecopolis will receive more than UAH 6.6 million. The bulk of the funds will be spent on employee salaries - UAH 4.4 million, almost UAH 1 million on accruals, and more than UAH 1.2 million on fuel and lubricants.
- Kherson Ritual Service will receive over UAH 9.1 million. Almost UAH 3.85 million will be allocated for salaries and UAH 847 thousand for accruals . In addition, part of the funds will be spent on garbage disposal, repair of brushcutters and vehicles, insurance and arrangement of a memorial complex to fallen soldiers.
- Khersonmisksvitlo will manage about UAH 9.34 million. Almost UAH 7 million is allocated for salaries, and UAH 1.53 million for accruals. Funds have also been allocated for fuel, electricity, household waste management, repair of outdoor lighting networks, and training of employees on electrical safety.
- Kherson Parks will receive the largest amount of money - over UAH 72.8 million. About UAH 50.6 million will be spent on salaries, UAH 11.1 million on accruals, and almost UAH 9 million on fuel. Additionally, the company will spend money on water supply, electricity, workwear, equipment and services for cleaning household and garden waste.
- Garantia will receive almost UAH 4 million. The main expenses are salaries and staff accruals, as well as utilities, vehicle maintenance, veterinary services for animals and the purchase of feed.
Thus, in 2026, funding for municipal utilities will cover salaries, repairs, fuel, electricity, insurance, maintenance and waste disposal, as well as special services for animals and memorials.
The total budget for all MEs is more than UAH 101 million, which reflects the priorities of the Kherson City Council in maintaining infrastructure and utilities for city residents.
Kherson has also approved plans for the development of municipal infrastructure for 2026, with over UAH 96 million allocated. The bulk of the funds will be spent on public transportation, road network maintenance, and traffic lights within the community.
