The Odesa Executive Committee considered issues of municipal economy, transportation, social support and assistance during the war. The topics included compensation for damaged housing, parking lots, support for IDPs, infrastructure development, and war graves.

This was reported by the press service of the Odesa City Council.

The key topics include updating the "Unbreakable Odesa" program, changes to the city's landscaping and housing programs, and decisions on renaming place names in the city.

Members of the executive committee are to consider changes to the work of the commission that deals with compensation for real estate damaged as a result of Russian aggression. This is a mechanism to help Odesa residents whose homes were damaged by hostilities and shelling.

It is planned to consider the transfer of non-residential buildings on Ataman Holovatyi Street and to address the issue of writing off property from the city's balance sheet. A separate block concerns the environment and stray animals.

The executive committee is also to consider designating Odestransparkservice as a paid parking operator, as well as changes to the operation of paid parking lots in Odesa.

In the field of municipal services, it is planned to amend the program "Indestructible Odesa", update the programs of improvement and housing, and set new tariffs for the services of the City Agency for Housing Privatization. In addition, it is planned to approve the procedure for the functioning of the sectors for honorary burials and burials of fallen soldiers at the Zakhidne cemetery.

The economic block includes support for condominiums under the energy modernization programs ENERGODOM, GRINDOM, and VDNOVYDOM. The city authorities are also preparing an action plan to implement the Odesa Territorial Community Development Strategy until 2027.

In the social sphere, the executive committee will consider changes to support programs for vulnerable groups and internally displaced persons. In particular, they will discuss the provision or denial of assistance to IDPs to resolve housing issues. Also on the agenda is the issue of granting the honorary title of "Mother Heroine".

The Department of Municipal Security has raised the issue of transferring the property of shelters to municipal institutions and reporting on the implementation of civil protection and fire safety programs in 2025.

The cultural block is scheduled to consider renaming and standardizing the names of place names in Odesa, as well as changes to programs for the preservation of cultural heritage, tourism development, and international cooperation.

Educators will report on the implementation of the national-patriotic education program "I am an Odessan, a patriot of Ukraine," and the medical block concerns the write-off of fixed assets of several city medical institutions. The agenda also includes the development of physical culture and sports in Odesa for 2024-2028.

At the end of April, the executive committee approved unified designs of tombstones to commemorate the fallen defenders of Ukraine. Particular attention was paid to the choice of material: the vast majority of participants spoke in favor of using light granite.
