In Mykolaiv, the new low-floor buses have already reached the final stage of preparation before launch - the city has actually received modern transport to update its routes. It is a batch of equipment worth up to 4.5 million euros that has received temporary permits to operate on the line.

The relevant order was signed by the mayor , Oleksandr Senkevych.

The new low-floor buses purchased under an international contract agreement are being prepared for the routes and are being issued temporary registration cards.

The relevant order was signed on March 31, 2026. The vehicles in question were transferred to the municipal ownership of the city territorial community under a contract for the supply of buses worth up to EUR 4.5 million.

According to the document, the newly appointed director of Mykolaivpastrans, Dmytro Danilenko, is authorized to carry out all the necessary registration actions at the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. In particular, the company is to receive temporary registration coupons that will entitle it to use the buses for passenger transportation within Ukraine.

We are talking about 26 new buses of the ISUZU CITIBUS B902 model, manufactured in 2025. They have 25 seats, meet the Euro-5 environmental standard and are designed to operate on city routes.

The company intends to launch new routes, in particular to Raketne Urochyshche and Velyka Korenyha, which will provide high-quality transportation for residents of remote areas.

Last year, in addition to expanding its fleet,Mykolaivpastrans launched a cashless fare payment system. Passengers can now pay for their travel with cards from any bank or by contactless methods such as PayPass.

In 2024, thanks to an agreement between the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, and the city council, EUR 4.5 million was provided for the purchase of modern buses. The loan was concluded for 9 years with a flexible interest rate.
