The head of the Odesa City Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, has announced plans to revise the tariffs for advertising in the city.
He said this after a staff meeting at the city council on February 16.
"Despite the implementation of the plan, I believe the city's tariff for advertising is too low. It is one of the lowest in the country. We will reconsider it," said the head of the MVA.
Meanwhile, journalist Iryna Hryb reported that the city council is currently considering dismissing the head of the advertising department, Ihor Slyusarenko. However, the press service of the city council told Intent that there is no official order to dismiss Ihor Slyusarenko. Ihor Slyusarenko began acting as the head of the department in March 2021.
Currently, one square meter of advertising space in Odesa costs 60 hryvnias per month. The exception is pylons, which are charged per unit at UAH 850 per month.

Earlier in Odesa, acting Odesa Mayor Ihor Koval dismissed Oleh Lysyi, director of the municipal property institution Motor Transport of Odesa City Executive Committee. In January, acting Odesa Mayor Igor Koval dismissed Serhiy Gurov, head of the Corruption Prevention Department of the Odesa City Council.
In January, the acting mayor of Odesa, Ihor Koval, dismissed Tetyana Prodanchuk, head of the Service for Children of the Odesa City Council.
In December, a number of personnel changes took place in Odesa municipality and its departments. For example, Denys Kravchenko, who had previously been the deputy of the dismissed Anastasia Potapenko, was appointed director of the Department of Administrative Services of Odesa City Council.
Natalia Soinikova, who was previously the deputy head of the Department of Internal Policy of Odesa City Council, was also appointed as the director of the Department of Internal Policy.
The stream of dismissals and appointments that began after the deprivation of citizenship and powers of Odesa Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov did not stop for several weeks: three heads were appointed in city departments.
