A court in Odesa has postponed the hearing of the case regarding construction on Zooparkova Street

The hearing in the case brought by the municipal enterprise “Odessmiskelektrotrans” against “Construction and Installation Management-1” LLC has been postponed until the end of October. The municipal utility is demanding that construction work be halted and that heavy equipment be removed from the site on Zooparkova Street.
This is stated in a ruling by the Commercial Court of Odesa Oblast.
The hearing was postponed due to the absence of a representative of the Odesa City Council, who was involved as a third party.
The case has been postponed until October 28, 2026, to ensure the participation of all parties to the proceedings. No decision has yet been made on the merits of the dispute.
According to the case file, the municipal enterprise“Odessmiskelektrotrans” filed a petition with the Commercial Court of the Odesa Region demanding that the developer cease all work at 8/1 Zooparkova Street and remove obstacles to the use of the land plot. In particular, the plaintiff insists on the removal of construction equipment and materials from the site and on restricting access by unauthorized persons, as it considers the company’s actions to be unlawful.
The lawsuit was filed with the court in late May. It was initially left pending due to deficiencies, which the plaintiff corrected on June 9. Proceedings were opened on June 15. The preliminary hearing was postponed twice, and in August, the court extended the preliminary proceedings by 30 days.
In early September, the defendant requested that the Odesa City Council be joined as a party to the case. The court agreed and scheduled a hearing for September 16. On that day, the preliminary proceedings were closed, and the trial on the merits was scheduled for September 30. After that, the trial was postponed until October 15, and now until October 28.
