The members of the Standing Committee on Spatial Development, Land Management and Regulation of Land Relations agreed to submit to the next session of the Odesa City Council the issue of granting a number of land plots for permanent use.
As it became known during the meeting of the commission, among other things, seven plots of land were allocated to the municipal enterprise "Heat Supply of Odesa" for the construction and maintenance of public buildings. The total area of the plots is 2.6 hectares.
The Specialized Utility Company was allocated two plots - 2.1 hectares and 0.022 hectares. It is a cemetery. The act provided for the demolition of a residential building and the eviction of people, but now this plot has been separated from those agreed by the deputies because there are ongoing legal disputes and people still live in that house.
Two plots of 15.5 and 15.6 hectares were approved for the construction and maintenance of permanent buildings of the South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky, which are dormitories that the university plans to build.
The deputies had questions about the request of the Odesa Electric Operating and Installation Enterprise, as the utility company asked for 10 acres of land on the Arcadia beach for permanent use. Deputy Zhanna Mandrychenko asked how the proposed land area was justified, and she was not satisfied with the explanations. So, the deputies postponed this issue and decided that the deputy should go to the site and look at the facility and the land plot. Another plot for the same municipal enterprise was also not approved. It was a three-hectare plot on Balkivska Square. In both cases, we are talking about pumping stations.
An important stage in the preparation for the plenary session is the meeting of the permanent deputy commissions, where the deputies discuss draft decisions and recommend or not recommend them for voting in the session hall.
