Trukhanov's deputy, who is a veteran of the war with Russia, is fired

The head of the Odesa City Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, said that it was decided to dismiss Deputy Mayor Serhiy Kotsyuba from this position.
The head of the MMA posted this on Facebook following a staff meeting on November 17.
"We thanked Acting Deputy Mayor Serhiy Kotsyuba, a veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war, for his fruitful work," Lysak wrote.
He said that after a short rest, Mr. Kotsiuba would return to work in the city council in a new position.
Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov announced the appointment of a new acting deputy mayor, Serhiy Kotsiuba, in July 2025. In his current position, he was in charge of the Department of Internal Policy, the Department of Physical Culture and Sports, and the Department of Social Policy and Labor. That is, he will be responsible for the social component of the municipality.
Kotsiuba said that when he arrived at the hospital in Odesa, he saw many problems faced by the wounded and decided to help the wounded, first as a volunteer and later as an employee of the health department.
The city council also dismissed Levon Nikoghosyan, director of the Health Department of the Odesa City Council, Andriy Zarytsky, acting director of the Finance Department of the Odesa City Council, Pavel Vugelman, deputy mayor, Valery Silin, deputy mayor, and 22 advisors to Hennadiy Trukhanov.
On October 14, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy revoked the citizenship of Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov, and on October 15, the President signed a decree appointing the head of the Dnipro Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, as the head of the newly created Odesa City Military Administration. His team included two deputies: Nadiya Zadorozhna, former deputy head of the Dnipropetrovs'k regional administration for social issues, Olga Lozova, former director of the Department of Education and Science of the Dnipropetrovs'k Regional Military Administration, Hennadiy Raskin, who had previously worked in the mayor's office, and Serhiy Krasylenko, who was appointed deputy head of the Odesa military administration.
