The Renia community of Izmail district is planning to build a bridge across the Danube River to provide road connections between Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, and Turkey.

According to bessarabiainform, the bridge is to be built between the Ukrainian village of Orlivka and the Romanian city of Isaccea.

"It is expected that after the bridge is put into operation, the distance to the Romanian city of Isaccea will be reduced by about 80 km," the report says.

To implement the infrastructure project, it is planned to attract investments in the amount of UAH 12.6 billion during 2025-2027. The project partners, according to the Strategy for the Restoration and Development of Odesa Region for 2025-2027, are the State Agency for the Restoration and Development of Infrastructure of Ukraine and private business. The Reniia community will also be involved in this project, which will facilitate the issuance of the necessary permits and urban planning documentation, as well as attract investors.

Over the next three years, they intend to attract UAH 12.6 billion in international assistance: in 2025 - UAH 1 billion, in 2026 - UAH 3.7 billion, in 2027 - UAH 7.5 million.

In August 2024, the Intent compared the 2022 program of socio-economic and cultural development of Odesa region (developed before the invasion), adopted on December 17, 2021, the 2023 decision of the Odesa Regional Council of August 4, 2023 and 2024, and the decision of the Odesa Regional Council of March 1, 2024, in terms of attention to recovery. At that time, it was found that there was no coordination of the recovery process at the level of the Odesa Regional State (Military) Administration that a citizen could track. Of course, the process itself is in the field of attention of regional officials, but it is impossible to see how systematically organized it is on the basis of the Programs for the socio-economic development of the region.
