Mykolaivoblteploenergo Prepares for 2024 Heating and Water Supply

In 2024, the specialists of Mykolaivoblteploenergo prepared boiler rooms, repaired equipment and supplied more than 100 liters of water.

This was announced by the director of the enterprise Nikolay Logvinov.

In preparation for the 2024-2025 heating season, the company has done some work: overhauled 16 boiler units, replaced almost 4 kilometers of heating networks and conducted hydraulic tests on 230 kilometers of networks.

We also prepared 92 boiler rooms and 152 heating points, replaced 90 heat meters and repaired 23 more. In addition, we installed remote reading systems on 66 devices.

In order to improve the quality of heat supply and optimize heat consumption, the company sent more than 600 orders to implement mandatory measures. However, due to the neglect of these requirements, the level of readiness of residential buildings for the heating season remained extremely low - only 8%.

Despite all the challenges, we have completed the planned work and will continue to modernize the infrastructure, improve the quality of services and introduce new technologies for the comfort of our customers," summarized Logvinov.

In addition to heat supply, providing free purified water to the city residents remains an important area of the company's work. Over the year, the company distributed more than 110 million liters of water through 79 distribution points.

To improve their operation in the event of a power outage, some of the points were equipped with backup power supplies, generators and batteries. In addition, we installed the first hybrid solar power plant for one of the distribution points, and plan to expand this initiative in the future.

With the start of the heating season, households are charged for services at a two-rate tariff. Despite these measures, the city's debt to the company amounted to UAH 237 million at the end of 2024, of which UAH 87 million was for the 2024-2025 season. The overall debt repayment rate is 23.95%, and taking into account previous debts, it is 77.74%.

Mykolaiv continues to expand its infrastructure for electric vehicles. This spring, 25 more charging stations will be installed in the city. The project has no commercial purpose; the main goal is to develop modern urban infrastructure.
