Mykolaiv Regional Guard Expands Operations with ₴12M Funding Boost

In Mykolaiv, the utility company has received a 12 million increase in funding and significantly expanded its operations. These changes are aimed at improving the efficiency of the enterprise and adapting it to the needs of modern communities.
The Mykolaiv Regional Council has decided to amend the Charter of the municipal enterprise Mykolaiv Regional Guard. The name of the enterprise is the new name of the municipal enterprise "Gosptekhobusluzhba".
The main innovation was an increase in the company's authorized capital by UAH 12 million. The authorized capital now amounts to UAH 35 million 252 thousand. Funding was provided from the reserve fund of the regional budget in accordance with the orders of the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration , Vitaliy Kim. The management was instructed to complete the state registration procedure.
The funds will be used to create a new unit that will be responsible for the operation of the situation center in the region.
The main task of the unit is to ensure a secure information environment by combining video surveillance cameras into a single system. This will facilitate better control over the crime situation, prompt response to violations, and increase public safety.
The updated charter expands the scope of the company's activities to include public safety, law enforcement monitoring, repair and construction work, transportation services, legal advice, as well as activities in the fields of advertising, information technology and environmental protection.
According to the YouControl analytical system, Mykolaiv Regional Guard was founded in 2000, with Mykolaiv Regional Council as its founder and Mykola Kukuruza as its director.
Since 2011, the company has received UAH 27.87 million through public tenders. In 2015, the company's revenue amounted to UAH 900 thousand, in 2022 - more than UAH 20 million, and in 2023 it increased to UAH 69.62 million.
The company was also mentioned in four journalistic investigations, two of which were published by the Center for Public Investigations and concerned the protection of fortifications.
