Mykolaiv has provided beneficiaries with sanatorium vouchers for 2025. People with disabilities and IDPs who live in the city and are registered will receive free healthcare.
The Executive Committee of the Mykolaiv City Council has approved an updated procedure for providing health resort vouchers to privileged citizens for 2025. The decision was made as part of the implementation of the Social Protection Program for 2024-2027.
The vouchers will be provided free of charge at the expense of the budget of the Mykolaiv City Territorial Community. Persons with disabilities of all categories who are registered or actually reside in Mykolaiv, as well as internally displaced persons registered with the local social security department, are eligible for the rehabilitation.
In particular, they are provided for
- free vouchers for persons with group I disabilities and their accompanying persons (except in cases of spinal cord or spinal cord injuries)
- the right to freely choose a sanatorium within Ukraine with the appropriate treatment profile;
- the period of rehabilitation is 18 days;
- reimbursement of the cost of vouchers to sanatoriums will be made in cash.
The maximum cost of a voucher will be up to UAH 13,680 (excluding VAT) for persons with disabilities and up to UAH 11,450 (including VAT) for those who will accompany them.
According to the decision, it is prohibited to share or transfer the voucher to other persons. After treatment, the person is removed from the waiting list, and re-registration is possible in accordance with the established procedure.
During the last meeting of the executive committee in Mykolaiv, it was decided to create a new territorial civil defense unit. Its main task will be to respond promptly to emergencies and participate in large-scale emergency recovery operations that require a significant amount of equipment and human resources.
The executive committee also approved the redistribution of funds from the city's territorial defense program. UAH 1.5 million was allocated for mobilization purposes. These funds are to be spent on purchasing the necessary materials and paying for services as part of the city's security program.
