Mykolaiv city authorities have ordered an update of digital topographic plans for four districts. By the end of 2025, the city should have a unified mapping framework integrated into the urban planning cadastre and geographic information systems.

This is evidenced by data from the Prozorro procurement system.

The executive committee of Mykolaiv City Council ordered the update of digital engineering and topographic plans of the city center. The cost of the work is UAH 3.95 million.

According to the system's data, the update will cover about 37 km² of the city's territory. The services are to be provided for four districts of Mykolaiv: Central, Zavodskyi, Ingulskyi and Korabelnyi districts.

The work is to be carried out using a combined method of modern geodetic measurements and desktop data processing. Upon completion, the city should receive a single digital map that will be integrated into the urban planning cadastre and geographic information systems.

The proposal was submitted by the municipal enterprise "Directorate for Capital Construction and Reconstruction" of the Mykolaiv Regional Council.

By the end of 2025, the contractor will have to prepare digital maps with attributes for buildings, roads, infrastructure, relief and hydrography. It is also planned to survey the war-damaged housing stock, dividing it into categories of damage, calculate the area of buildings by function and type, and prepare data for integration into the geoportal. All results will be submitted to the State Cartographic and Geodetic Fund of Ukraine.

Last year, Mykolaiv City Council announced the digitalization of the city's topography. The budget for 2025 allocated funds from a special fund for the implementation of the economic and social development program for 2024-2026, which provides for the creation of a unified digital topographic database of urban areas.
