Deputies plan to liquidate Odesa "Municipal Guard" at an extraordinary session

The acting mayor of Odesa, Igor Koval, has ordered to convene an extraordinary session of the city council.
The relevant order was published by the press service of the municipality.
The meeting is scheduled for October 30. The recommended agenda consists of five issues:
- On amending the quantitative and personal composition of the Executive Committee of the Odesa City Council of the VIII convocation.
- On granting consent to the municipal enterprise "Heat Supply of Odesa" to conclude a natural gas supply agreement with the Limited Liability Company "Gas Supply Company "Naftogaz Trading" for the period from November 2025 to March 2026.
- On the inclusion of an additional object of communal property of the territorial community of Odesa to be leased without an auction in the List of the second type of communal property of the territorial community of Odesa, approved by the decision of the Odesa City Council of February 3, 2021.
- On the termination of the Municipal Institution "Municipal Guard".
- On the settlement of certain issues of remuneration of the Acting Mayor of Odesa, the Secretary of the City Council and the Deputy Mayors of Odesa.
Intent will traditionally broadcast the meeting online. The meeting will also feature the deputy heads of the Odesa City Military Administration. Gennadiy Raskin, who has previously worked in the mayor's office, has been appointed first deputy head of the Odesa military administration.
This became known during a meeting of the Standing Committee on Planning, Budget and Finance on October 27, where he was introduced by the chairman of the committee, Oleksiy Potapsky, as the deputy head of the MVA. Another deputy , Serhiy Vasylenko, also joined the meeting.
