Deputies of Odesa Regional Council convened for a session

The head of the Odesa Regional Council, Hryhoriy Didenko, has ordered to convene a session of the council scheduled for September 12.

The corresponding order was published by the press service of the regional council.

The recommended agenda looks like a list of blocks of issues without specific draft decisions:

  • 2.1. On the activities of the regional council and its bodies.
  • 2.2. Budget and finance.
  • 2.3. On targeted programs, concepts and urban planning.
  • 2.4. On the objects of joint ownership of territorial communities of villages, towns,
  • and cities of the region.
  • 2.5. On land relations.
  • 2.6 On establishment, liquidation, change of name, approval of charters of municipal enterprises, institutions, amendments thereto
  • of municipal enterprises, institutions, amendments thereto, and their activities.
  • 2.7. Other issues within the competence of the regional council.
  • 2.8. Appeals of deputies.
  • 2.9. Deputies' inquiries.
  • 2.10. Miscellaneous.

The chairman of the regional council ordered to prepare for the session in early July.

On Friday, June 6, deputies of the Odesa Regional Council held a regular plenary meeting of the session. According to the order of the chairman of the regional council, Hryhoriy Didenko, the twenty-seventh session of the eighth convocation began at 10 am in the session hall of the regional council.

The agenda included 23 issues related to the activities of the regional council and its bodies, budget and finance, programs, concepts and urban planning, and jointly owned objects of territorial communities of villages, towns and cities of the region. In addition, the deputies will have to consider land issues and issues within the competence of the regional council. They will also be asked to support deputy appeals.

The previous session was held on February 28. The Odesa Regional Council supported an appeal to the Cabinet of Ministers and the Verkhovna Rada to preserve the National University of OdesaMaritime Academy, and a scandal broke out during the consideration of the draft decision"Report on the Activities of the Head of the Odesa Regional Council for 2024."
