More than 750 doctors and more than 1,600 medical workers are involved in treating the population.

Three medical facilities in Kherson Oblast have been equipped with"underground hospitals" that ensure the safety of patients and medical staff even during shelling. The construction of one underground hospital in Kherson cost UAH 19 million. The underground hospital was equipped with operating and intensive care units, intensive care wards, a manipulation room, a laboratory, a warehouse of medicines and the necessary medical equipment.
