Residents of the part of Kherson region liberated from the Russian occupiers continue to receive quality medical services.
This was reported by the press service of the Congress of Local and Regional Councils under the President of Ukraine.
The post says that this was made possible through cooperation with international partners.
Thus, it is noted that in the Kherson region, a team of volunteer doctors from the Fortitude UA charitable foundation visited Blahodativka, Tverdomedove, Bruskyne, Ishchanka, Bilousove, Nova Kaluga, and Karerne. Patients were seen by a family doctor, a neurologist and a cardiologist, and an electrocardiogram was performed if necessary. Traditionally, the clinic on wheels had a laboratory where patients could have a general blood test, check blood glucose and cholesterol levels. Medicines were given to patients free of charge as prescribed by doctors. During the week, the team was able to examine 619 local residents.
