More than five hundred residents of Kherson region received help from volunteer doctors

In Kherson region, more than five hundred residents of Beryslav district received qualified assistance from volunteer medics.

This was reported by the press service of the Kherson Regional Medical Association.

The report says that over the past week, a mobile team of doctors visited Vysokopillya, Nezlamne, Novovoznesenskoye, Novomykolayivka, Novopetrivka, Arkhangelskoye, and Zarichne. Patients were seen by a family doctor, neurologist, ophthalmologist, endocrinologist and cardiologist. The mobile clinic performed ultrasound examinations of organs and cardiograms, and the laboratory also tested glucose and cholesterol levels. Thanks to the project, patients were able to receive the necessary medicines and glasses prescribed by doctors free of charge.

The Kherson Mobile Clinics project is being implemented by the Fortitude UA charitable foundation in partnership with the International Rescue Committee in Ukraine with the support of the Humanitarian Fund for Ukraine and the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.

Earlier it was reported that a medical mission of volunteer doctors continues in Kherson region. Last week, the doctors visited a number of settlements in Beryslav region: Orlove, Svobodne, Pryhirya, Kochubeevka, Zahradivka and Novobratske. A family doctor, a neurologist, an ophthalmologist, an endocrinologist and a cardiologist provided free consultations for patients. The specialists also provided ultrasound diagnostics, electrocardiography and laboratory tests. The specialists provided medical care to more than 550 local residents.

The medical team of the American volunteer organization Global Care Force also received residents of the Kalynivka community. Over the course of two days, the doctors visited Kalinovskoye, Kokhanivka, Blagodativka and Bobrovy Kut, where they examined more than 90 patients. In addition to the examination, people were provided with the necessary medicines as prescribed free of charge.
