The renovation of medical facilities in Kherson region continues. Thus, in one of the hospitals in Kherson, work is being completed on the arrangement of a shelter.

This was reported by the press service of the Kherson Regional State Administration.

The post says that volunteers from the local branch of Dobrobat are helping to carry out the repairs. Now, instead of damp rooms, there are comfortable and modern wards for patients, as well as a small gym. The last stage was the renovation of the corridor. Volunteers painted metal structures and doors, and insulated pipes to create a comfortable and welcoming environment for patients and medical staff.

Also, according to Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, the outpatient clinic in Kyselivka was renovated. It serves the residents of the village and surrounding settlements. Both adults and children. Here you can get vaccinated, have your blood pressure measured, have your heart checked or have laboratory tests done - the medical facility has all the necessary equipment. In addition, the outpatient clinic has rooms for narrow specialists. Including a dentist. Volunteers of mobile medical teams also provide medical appointments. The premises have been thoroughly renovated. The roof, windows and doors were replaced, corridors and offices were renovated, new floors were laid, and lighting was replaced. All this created comfortable conditions for patients and medical staff. It is especially important that the needs of people with disabilities were taken into account.

The project was implemented with the support of ALIMA and Project HOPE, the International Medical Corps, and the International Organization for Migration in Ukraine.

Earlier it was reported that despite the difficult conditions, the Arkhangelsk outpatient clinic continues to serve the population of six surrounding villages. This is almost 1800 residents. Before the Russian invasion, a new building was built here, but it was not put into operation. Now the building has been damaged by shelling and needs serious repairs.
