Lessons that save lives: safety classes opened in two hromadas of Kherson Oblast

Two educational institutions in the Vysokopilska and Borozenska communities have been equipped with new safety classes. The purpose of these classes is to teach children how to act correctly in dangerous life situations.
According to the Kherson Oblast State Emergency Service, the classrooms are equipped with a variety of interactive materials, training equipment, and samples of rescue equipment. Thus, students will be able not only to study safety rules theoretically, but also to practically master the skills of how to act in emergency situations.
"Such projects will continue to be implemented, because investing in children's education and safety is a contribution to the future of our Kherson region ," said Andriy Masharo, Head of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kherson Oblast.
The SES added that these projects were implemented thanks to the management of these educational institutions, the support of local, district and regional authorities, the Main Directorate of the SES of Kherson Region, and the National Police.

Volodymyr Kliutsevskyi , deputy head of the Kherson Regional State Administration , also took part in the opening of the spaces . He also assured that the regional administration will continue to work on teaching children safety rules, as this is one of the key priorities of the region.
"This knowledge will help our students to be more aware and ready for the challenges of the modern world. We thank everyone who contributed to the creation of such important educational spaces," the official said.
Earlier,a "Safety Class" was opened in one of the settlements of the Bilozerska community in Kherson region. The classroom is designed for students of all ages and is equipped with a variety of educational materials, including information stands, explosive models, first aid equipment, fire extinguishing equipment, and teaching aids.
