In the Kherson region, the route ofthe "pharmacy on wheels" covers more than fifty settlements in the Velyko Oleksandrivska, Vysokopilska, Kochubeivska, Borozenska, Kalynivska, Mylivska and Novovorontsovska communities. Its work was checked by the Deputy Minister of Health.

This was reported by the press service of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities under the President of Ukraine.

The post notes that the creation of such a pharmacy is an important step to ensure access to essential medicines for local residents, as many medical facilities and inpatient pharmacies in the liberated communities have been destroyed by shelling. The pharmacy's schedule for this week is available here.

The work of the mobile pharmacy was checked by First Deputy Minister of Health Serhiy Dubrov, who paid a working visit to Beryslav district.

"We must do everything to ensure that residents of the frontline areas do not lack medical services and medicines. I thank the team of the Kherson Regional Military Administration and the Department of Health for their fruitful cooperation, implemented projects and resilience," said Serhiy Dubrov.

It is noted that the Project was implemented in close cooperation with the State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control, Kherson Pharmacy LLC and with the support of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

Earlier it was reported that on August 15, one of the Kherson hospitals received a mobile outpatient clinic. The much-needed replenishment of the medical arsenal of our city took place as part of a project that has been implemented for a year and a half under the auspices and with funding from Rotary International. The project aims to overcome the consequences of armed aggression, in particular, to provide medical services to the population in communities where the medical infrastructure has been severely damaged or destroyed. The cost of such a mobile clinic is up to 50,000 dollars. The clinic is based on a car trailer, so it is very mobile. It can be easily moved with a crossover, a bus, or a more powerful car.
