In Mykolaiv, employees of a municipal utility company have been trained in first aid. More than a hundred employees will receive the necessary knowledge and first aid kits to act in emergency situations and ensure the safety of passengers and colleagues.
According to the press service of Mykolaivelectrotrans, the company has launched a series of first aid trainings with the participation of British instructors from the World Extreme Medicine Fund.
The training will last several days and will cover about 120 employees - from electric vehicle drivers to employees of the car repair shop, power supply, track, and construction and repair services.

Inna Todorenko, Head of the Labor Protection Department, noted that such initiatives significantly increase the level of safety at the enterprise.
"Knowledge of the correct algorithm for providing first aid is an additional tool to ensure the safety of our employees and passengers," Todorenko emphasized.
"During the course, participants gain both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in providing first aid in emergency situations. Upon completion of the training, each employee will be provided with an individual first aid kit to use in case of emergency.
The organizers expressed their gratitude to the NGO "Youth of Ukraine" for their assistance in organizing the training and to the World Extreme Medicine Fund team for their valuable knowledge and practical experience, which is especially effective in today's environment.
