In 2024, Mykolaiv signed 3 memorandums of partnership. These are: Glasgow, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland; Sindelfingen, Germany; and Kotka, Finland. International relations with the United States are being established.
The first Memorandum of Cooperation was signed on August 19, 2022, by Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych and Danish Minister for International Development Flemming Møller Mortensen. The document envisaged broad cooperation between Mykolaiv and Denmark in rebuilding our city and implementing the best practices of transparency and accountability.
