In the 2025-2026 academic year, six educational institutions in Kherson region have implemented an international entrepreneurship training program from Junior Achievement Ukraine.

This is stated in the press release of Junior Achievement Ukraine.

The program will run throughout the academic year and is completely free for both students and teachers. It covers practical skills in planning, marketing, financial literacy, and teamwork, allowing students to create and run their own educational business projects. In addition to teachers, local entrepreneurs can serve as mentors.

The international organization Junior Achievement, which supports this initiative, has been operating globally since 1919 and reaches more than 15 million students in more than 100 countries. In Ukraine, its educational projects are implemented with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science and annually involve more than 10 thousand young people.

The program participants are:

  • Kherson Higher Vocational School #2;
  • Kakhovka Professional Agricultural Lyceum;
  • Novokakhovka instrument-making vocational college;
  • Kherson Higher Vocational Commercial School;
  • Kherson Higher Vocational School of Service and Design;
  • Kherson Professional Lyceum of Communication and Printing.

Meanwhile, rumors of a region-wide quarantine in schools have been denied in Odesa. The temporary transition of some institutions to distance learning is only related to the increased incidence of SARS and is a preventive measure.

According to the press service, rumors have recently been spreading on social media that the CDC is allegedly introducing a region-wide quarantine. The center's press service emphasizes that no such statements have been made. The temporary transition to distance learning in some institutions is only associated with an increase in the incidence of SARS and is a common preventive measure.
