The auction for the sale of three 60-hectare land plots announced by Oschadbank in March did not take place due to the lack of bidders.

The announcement was published in the Prozorro.Sale system.

The starting price of the lot was UAH 151 million 122.3 thousand, and the auction was to take place on April 13. The land plots are intended for the placement and operation of main, auxiliary and auxiliary buildings and structures of processing, machine-building and other industries and are located in the village of Molodizhne in Odesa district.

Sale of assets and property of state-owned banks is a procedure whereby assets can be purchased from state-owned banks for which the borrower has not repaid the debt for more than 90 days. These may include debts of individuals and legal entities under loan agreements, mortgage and surety agreements, as well as accounts receivable, etc.

The State Savings Bank of Ukraine put up for sale these three land plots with a total area of 60 hectares in Odesa region in 2024, but the auction was not held then either. Just like this time, the land was put up for a three-round English auction, which means that participants submit their closed bids before the auction starts. Potential buyers do not know whether there are other competitors and do not see each other's bids. The electronic trading system ranks the bids from the lowest to the highest, and the one who made the highest (closed) price offer has the right of last resort in each round. This gives him the highest chance of winning.

Meanwhile, the announcement of March 12 stated that this was the first time the lot was being auctioned.
