In the construction industry of the Odesa region, the average salary for full-time employees is 18,610 hryvnias. The region ranks among the top four in Ukraine in terms of the volume of new housing units commissioned.
This was reported by the Main Statistics Office of the Odesa region.
According to the State Statistics Service, in March 2026, 10,900 full-time employees were working in the construction sector in the Odesa region. Their average monthly salary was 18,610 hryvnias.
At the same time, during the first three months of 2026, 230,200 square meters of housing were completed in the region. This is 15.5% more than during the same period last year.

The Odesa region accounted for 10.1% of the total volume of new housing in Ukraine. By this measure, the region ranked fourth behind the Kyiv and Lviv regions, as well as the city of Kyiv.
The vast majority of new housing—73.9%—consisted of apartment buildings. Another 26.1% consisted of single-family homes.
As is traditional, the largest number of housing units was commissioned in the Odesa District. Here, 217,000 square meters were completed, or 94.3% of the region’s total.
As of April 1, 2026, there were 5,031 legal entities operating in the region whose primary activity is construction, as well as 1,813 individual entrepreneurs.
Earlier, analysts from the DIM.RIA real estate marketplace reported that Ukraine’s new-construction market is gradually recovering despite the war.
According to a study covering the period from the start of the full-scale invasion through July 2026, the Odesa region ranked among the top three regions in terms of the number of residential projects under construction.
In addition, demand is growing in the region for housing purchased through government programs.
