The Executive Committee of Mykolaiv City Council has announced a tender for professional cleaning services for administrative buildings and the surrounding area.

This is evidenced by the data of the public procurement system Prozorro.

According to Prozorro, the expected cost of the services is UAH 4,153,150. The bidding stage is currently underway, and the winner will be determined at an auction on February 19.

What is included in the contract price?

The contractor will undertake a full cycle of building maintenance: from daily wet cleaning of offices, meeting rooms, elevators and bathrooms to disinfection and carpet cleaning. In addition, the company must ensure that basements and bomb shelters are clean.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Seasonal work: washing windows twice a year, washing curtains and cleaning chandeliers.
  • Street work: daily cleaning of yards from garbage and leaves, and in winter - clearing snow and ice with the use of reagents.
  • Emergencies: cleaning after repairs or emergencies.

To perform the work, the contractor must employ at least 31 employees (29 cleaners and 2 janitors). An important condition is that the staff must wear the same uniform with the company logo. The contractor covers all the costs of professional equipment and detergents on his own.

The service area covers several facilities:

  • The administrative building at 20 Admiralska St.
  • City archives (12 Pozdovzhna St., Mariupolska St., Mira Ave.).
  • A bus depot on Radisna Street.
  • Premises on Central Avenue.

It has also become known that Mykolaiv City Hospital No. 1 has announced a search for a catering service provider for inpatients. The contract provides for the provision of ready meals to patients until the end of 2026.

The budget is UAH 10 million 460 thousand. The procurement procedure involves dividing the contract into two separate lots, with more than UAH 10 million allocated to provide food for inpatients and the remaining amount for an improved ration for military personnel. Applications from potential contractors will be accepted until February 10, and the bidding is scheduled for February 11.
