In Izmail, Odesa region, the tariff for the management of apartment buildings provided by the utility company Zhytteservice will change on June 1, 2026, and will increase by 33-34% on average.

An Intent correspondent writes about this with reference to the organization's announcement.

As explained in the utility company, the current tariff is valid from October 1, 2024. During this time, the main costs of maintaining the housing stock have increased. In particular, according to the company, prices for materials have increased by an average of 34.9%, repair costs by 27.7%, gasoline has risen by 27.3%, and diesel fuel by almost 92.7%. The revision of the tariff is also due to the increase in the minimum wage and the cost of living.

The company notes that without the tariff revision, it would have had to reduce the scope of work, which could have affected the condition of buildings and adjacent areas. The company currently services 288 residential buildings in the city. These include 11 two-story buildings, 110 three- and four-story buildings, and 167 five- and nine-story buildings.

As the utility reminds us, the building management service includes cleaning of adjacent territories, basements and technical floors, maintenance of elevators, repair of in-building power grids, deratization and disinfestation, maintenance of smoke and ventilation ducts, routine repair of structural elements of buildings, as well as payment for electricity for lighting common areas and elevators.

The tariff is calculated separately for each building and depends on its technical characteristics. After the revision, it will range from approximately UAH 3.4 to 9.4 per square meter of gross floor area, depending on the address and availability of additional services, including elevator maintenance.
