As of December 1, 2025, the total amount of wage arrears in Mykolaiv region was UAH 35.4 million. Despite a slight reduction in debts compared to November, the lion's share of non-payments falls on the agricultural sector and industry.

This became known from the data of the Main Department of Statistics in Mykolaiv region.

The financial crisis in payments is actually divided in half between the two sectors. The agricultural sector remains the leader in terms of debt, holding 50.9% of the total amount exceeding 18 million, with most of these funds being old debts. Industrial enterprises are responsible for the remaining 49.1% of the debt (17.4 million), with the bulk of it concentrated in the manufacturing and critical infrastructure sectors. Other sectors, including education, healthcare, and transportation, currently have no official debts.

Debts are unevenly distributed geographically. The most difficult situation is in Mykolaiv district, which accounts for almost 40% of all non-payments in the region (14.1 million), but here the debts mostly arose during the current year. Instead, in Voznesensky and Bashtanka districts, where the amounts amount to UAH 12.2 million and UAH 5.5 million, respectively, most debts are long-standing, indicating deep systemic problems of local enterprises. Pervomaiskyi district closes the list with a debt of 3.6.

As of the beginning of the current heating season, the debts of Mykolaiv residents for heat supply services remain significant. The total amount of consumer debt to Mykolaivoblteploenergo for the previous periods is over UAH 270 million.

This year, in October and partial November, following appeals to Mykolaivoblteploenergo, the court issued 1896 decisions on debtors worth more than UAH 30 million.

The amount of debt enforced was UAH 976,454 in October and UAH 9,092,327 for the partial month of November. The company asked consumers with debts to pay off their debts or enter into a restructuring agreement.
