During the first half of the year, Switzerland was the top destination for exports from the Odessa region

From January through June 2026, the Odessa region exported services worth 282,228,700 U.S. dollars. Switzerland remains the main export destination.

This was reported by the Main Department of Statistics in the Odessa region.

During this period, the Odessa region exported services to Switzerland with a total value of $39,361,600. 

Germany ranks second in terms of the volume of exports from the Odessa region. Services worth 25,741,000 U.S. dollars were supplied to this country during the first half of the year. 

Denmark ranks third. The Odesa region exported services worth $18,456,400 to this country.

In the breakdown of foreigntrade in services by type, transportation services predominate. Telecommunications, computer, and information services rank second. Business services rank third. 

Earlier, it was reported that 39 companies with Bulgarian owners are registered in the Odesa region. Only Kyiv has more—123.

The Dniester Wind Farm generates the highest revenue among Bulgarian-owned entities in the Odesa region. In 2025, its revenue stood at 1.56 billion hryvnias. To optimize revenue and ensure financial stability, the Dniester Wind Farm signed its first contract for a difference in prices (CfD) in early 2025 to supply electricity directly to an industrial consumer. The facility’s total capacity is 100 MW.
