Auditors appeal to the Prosecutor's Office after checking children's clinic in Odesa

Auditors of the Southern Office of the State Audit Service have completed an audit of certain financial and economic activities of the Children's City Polyclinic No. 2 and found financial irregularities that led to losses totaling more than UAH 1 million.

According to the press service of the office, the clinic's employees were accrued and paid bonuses and surcharges not provided for in the terms of collective bargaining agreements.

In particular, it was about bonuses for working with patients with acute respiratory disease COVID-19 caused by the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 and bonuses for complexity and intensity of work totaling more than 700 thousand hryvnias.

In addition, employees of the palliative care and early intervention departments received salary increases due to hazardous and difficult working conditions, which are also not provided for in the Collective Bargaining Agreements, totaling more than UAH 125 thousand.

Administrative violation reports were drawn up against two officials for violations of financial discipline, for which they may be fined in the amount of eight to fifteen tax-free minimum incomes, i.e. in the amount of UAH 136 to 255. The results of the audit were reported to the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office and the Strategic Investigations Department in Odesa Region of the Strategic Investigations Department of the National Police of Ukraine.

Earlier, the State Audit Service launched an audit of the procurement due to possible violations in Mykolaiv region. The municipal production enterprise for catering in educational institutions of Mykolaiv formed the cost of catering for schools through companies that may be related to the head of the Ingul district administration.
