The Polish company Grupa Mosty plans to build a 162-MW wind farm in the Odesa region by the end of 2028. The project involves the installation of 36 wind turbines.

This was reportedby PAP Biznes.

At the September auction to allocate support quotas for wind power generation in Ukraine, the company secured the right to receive support for 162 MW.

Grupa Mosty is currently continuing negotiations with potential contractors regarding construction work, the development of electrical infrastructure, and the installation of turbines. The company has already secured initial financing and signed a guarantee agreement with the client. However, the contract for the supply of wind turbines has not yet been signed.

The project is expected to reach construction-ready status in the first quarter of 2027. After the plant is launched, the company also plans to install an energy storage system.

“We view the Ukrainian market as very promising, particularly in terms of the scalability of renewable energy projects, and we have high hopes for it. Winning the auction is of great importance for our further development in this region and will certainly be an advantage in securing financing for investments,” said Andrzej Michał Kowalik, CEO of Grupa Mosty.

It is reported that the facility will be built in the village of Mayaki in the Odesa region.
