State Property Fund puts up for sale children's health center in Odesa

The regional office of the State Property Fund of Ukraine in Odesa and Mykolaiv regions has put up for sale the children's recreation center "Young Shipyard Worker" in Odesa.
The relevant announcement was published in the Prozorro.Sale system.
The starting price of the lot is UAH 14 million 207.9 thousand. The winner of the auction will receive buildings and structures in the Kyiv district of Odesa at 4 Kostandi Street, on land plots with cadastral areas of 1.2 hectares and 0.1 hectares. The total area of the buildings is 2,180.6 square meters, including four dormitories, a dining room, sheds, a summer cinema, showers, a medical unit, a yard toilet, sheds, a garage, a laundry, outbuildings, a guard post, a water tower and other structures. The privatization object also includes 86 units of movable property.
The land plots on which the privatization object is located are not subject to sale and purchase, so the buyer will have to decide on the land use issues on his own.
This is the first time that the children's health center has been put up for auction, although there have been discussions about its privatization for at least three years. Thus, during the session of the Odesa Regional Council on December 2, 2022, the deputies appealed to the State Property Fund of Ukraine to prevent the privatization of the Yunyi Shipyard Worker children's health center.
The appeal noted that this children's health center, located on Kostandi Street, is on the balance sheet of the Odesa Commercial Sea Port, but was leased out in 2018.
The then head of the regional office, now a deputy of the Odesa City Council, Oleksandr Slavskyi, explained to Intent that the Regional Office of the State Property Fund of Ukraine in Odesa and Mykolaiv regions could not put the Yunyi Sudoremontnyk children's health center up for auction because it had no information about its book value.
At the time, he said that the story of the center's privatization began in October 2020. Then the foundation applied to the Odesa Commercial Sea Port and received consent for privatization. On November 17, 2021, the Ministry of Social Policy approved the privatization to preserve the profile of the activity. Only after receiving the approval, the State Property Fund of Ukraine included the center in the list of social and cultural facilities to be privatized on December 24, 2021.
