Residents of the TOT of Crimea will be restricted from accessing their own money.

Starting September 1, Russian banks will be able to block cash withdrawals for 48 hours from residents of the temporarily occupied Crimea if the transaction seems "suspicious" to them. This restriction is in addition to the existing problems on the peninsula, such as constant internet interruptions and non-operational ATMs and cash desks. According to the National Resistance Center, such actions of the Kremlin are not "care" but a tool of control to keep residents on a "short financial leash" and suppress their freedom.
As a reminder, the occupiers continue to carry out filtration measures in Crimea. The security forces search dormitories, garden associations and residential areas in search of "unreliable" citizens. Razvozhayev , the mayor of Sevastopol, said that 730 objects were searched in one district alone. The CNS notes that these actions are not a security measure, but a tool of intimidation, terror and an attempt to identify those who do not support the occupation. This shows that the Kremlin fears resistance in the occupied territories.

In the annexed Crimea, former MP Oleh Tsarev owns 6 sanatoriums, one of which is rehabilitating participants of Russia's war against Ukraine. For Tsarev, the sanatoriums are a gift from the occupation authorities. Together with his wife Larysa and his mother Nina Tsareva, they run resorts in Gaspra, Alushta, and Yevpatoria. The Kirov sanatorium in Yalta brings the most profit to the family - 1.8 billion rubles. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, it has become the main base for the rehabilitation of Russian soldiers. Since 2022, aggressors and their families have been receiving free vouchers through the Russian Social Fund.
