Ports on the Danube did not stop working despite Russian attacks on bridges

Ukrainian seaports in Odesa region, including those on the Danube, did not stop working despite all the enemy's attempts to stop logistics.
This was announced by Oleksiy Kuleba, Minister of Communities and Territories Development, during a working visit to Odesa Oblast.
According to him, for example, as a result of a drone attack on the Pivdennyi port, warehouses and some port infrastructure facilities were damaged, and power outages were recorded. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
"After the Russian attacks on the region's transportation infrastructure, the key task is to maintain the movement of passengers and cargo, the operation of ports and access to checkpoints. This is what we proceeded from in our conversation with those who directly provide transportation to the south of Ukraine," said Oleksiy Kuleba.
The meeting also reviewed the work of the Danube Region ports and alternative logistics routes for carriers and exporters, taking into account the current security situation.
However, traffic restrictions in both directions on the M-15 Odesa-Reni highway (to Bucharest) within the village of Mayaki have been lifted.
On December 19, the Defense Council of Odesa Oblast suspended the movement of freight transport on the M-15 Odesa-Reni highway due to Russian air attacks and damage to the bridge over the Dniester River near the village of Mayaki.
In the evening of December 18, during an attack in Odesa region, an enemy attack drone hit a bridge connecting settlements in the area of the Dniester Estuary and also hit a bridge over the Dniester River near the village of Mayaki. There, it hit a civilian car that was crossing the bridge. The car was occupied by a woman with three children. The mother was seriously injured and died in an ambulance. Her three children were taken to the hospital with injuries and acute stress reaction.
On the evening of December 19, Russia attacked a port infrastructure facility in Odesa district with ballistic missiles. A passenger bus was in the epicenter of the strike, with people on board who were killed and injured. Also, trucks caught fire in the parking lot and cars were damaged. In total, eight people were killed and 27 were injured.
