The company plans to build a modern cogeneration complex with gas piston units with a total capacity of up to 80 MW at Mykolaivska TPP. The new equipment is expected to help reduce the cost of heat production.

This data was published in the DREAM digital system .

The feasibility study of the project, which is being prepared with the support of the Swedish fund Swedfund, envisages the installation of gas piston units with a capacity of up to 80 MW. These units will operate in a cogeneration mode, which will allow simultaneous production of electricity and heat. The new equipment will replace outdated facilities, making the city's energy supply more stable and efficient.

The feasibility study will take a year to complete, and if funded, the project will be implemented in two years. It is worth noting that in June, the Cabinet of Ministers already allocated UAH 1.1 billion to prepare Mykolaiv for the heating season. These funds will be used to install 18 modular boiler houses to replace the damaged CHP plant and provide heat in the city in winter.

Since the beginning of the year, 800 electric vehicles have been registered in Mykolaiv region. According to national statistics, there is a rapid increase in the number of registered electric vehicles. According to Khmelevska, while in 2021, the Ministry of Internal Affairs service centers registered 8,996 electric cars, in 2022, this figure increased by more than 54%, reaching 13,911 units.

The real breakthrough was in 2023, when the number of registrations almost tripled to 37,962 electric cars. In 2024, the growth rate slowed slightly, but still remained significant: 52,612 new electric vehicles were registered, which is 38.6% more than in the previous year.

As a reminder, all electric vehicles in Ukraine receive special 'green' license plates with symbols of the corresponding color and separate series.
