Mykolaiv Children's Hospital Allocates ₴5M for Elevator Replacement

Mykolaiv Children's Hospital is planning to replace its elevators. More than five million hryvnias have been allocated from the budget for this purpose.

This is evidenced by data from the Prozorro electronic public procurement system.

Mykolaiv City Children's Hospital No. 2 at 5 Ryumina Street has started overhauling two passenger elevators. The project involves the complete replacement of elevators in the hospital's inpatient building.

Bidders can submit their proposals until March 6, 2025, and the auction is scheduled for March 7.

The expected cost of the project is UAH 5 million 236 thousand 566. The minimum price reduction step is UAH 26 thousand 182. Bidders are not required to provide a bid security.

Delivery and unloading of the goods to the installation site shall be carried out at the expense of the bidder. The warranty for the elevators must be at least 24 months from the date of commissioning.

When procuring services, the tenderer must indicate in its proposal the full name of each business entity that it plans to involve as a co-executor if the volume of their work or services will be at least 20% of the contract value. In addition, the subcontractor must provide a letter of feedback from the client on the actual performance of the contract specified in the certificate.

The works should be completed by September 30, 2025. The services will be paid for after acceptance of the work within 15 days.

Also, a company with a dubious reputation may receive a contract for the construction of a warning system for Mykolaiv region worth more than UAH 86 million. A new territorial automated centralized warning system is planned to be created, commissioned by the Civil Protection Department of Mykolaiv Regional State Administration. Completion is scheduled for December 31, 2025.

Meanwhile, in Mykolaiv, on the third attempt and at a reduced price, they are trying to dismantle the Soviet star and Russian inscription on the memorial complex in honor of 68 paratroopers from Olshan. The previous two tenders failed due to the lack of contractors.

In addition, local businesses are actively earning money from road repairs and tile laying. Many contracts have political connections. One of the contracts for paving is expected to be awarded to the company of a local deputy who has been repeatedly featured in journalistic investigations.
