Ex-MP Markov's seized fitness center is to be found a manager

The National Asset Recovery and Management Agency has announced seven new tenders in the Prozorro electronic system for the selection of managers of seized assets, including the White Sail fitness club in Odesa.
This was reported by the ARMA press service.
Theauction is scheduled to take place on September 19, 2025. The expected value of the tender is 300 thousand hryvnias. The fitness club is going to be leased until September 30, 2030. The manager will be able to dispose of the asset, using it in any type of economic activity not prohibited by law, for its intended and functional purpose. However, it will not be able to transfer or donate it to third parties.
Last year, the media reported that the fitness center collected money from clients for subscriptions and stopped working. The Prymorskyi District Court of Odesa ruled to transfer the property belonging to Inessa Markova, the wife of former MP Ihor Markov, who fled to Moscow, to the National Agency for Finding, Tracing and Management of Assets Derived from Corruption and Other Crimes (ARMA) in August 2024. The land plot and several real estate properties in Odesa, including the fitness center of the White Sail residential complex built by Igor Markov, were involved.
And in June 2024, the Security Service of Ukraine served a notice of suspicion to Inesa, the wife of the traitorous former MP Ihor Markov, and obtained a court order to seize her real estate worth more than UAH 250 million. In May 2023, the SBU served Ihor Markov, the husband of the defendant, with a notice of suspicion under three articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, including treason.
Then, based on new evidence, the SBU investigators notified the defendant of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law).
Earlier, in June 2022, law enforcement officers served Markov with a notice of suspicion of collaboration.
