A sand quarry in an estuary is put up for sale in Odesa region

The State Service of Geology and Subsoil of Ukraine has announced an auction for the sale of a special permit for the use of subsoil at the Dnistrovska field in Odesa region.
This was reported in the system Prozorro. Sale system.
The Dnistrovska field is located 1.5 kilometers southeast of the city of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi in the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi and Odesa districts of Odesa region. Type of mineral resources: sand. Type of subsoil use and the period for which the permit is granted: geological exploration, including pilot development, of minerals with subsequent extraction of minerals (industrial development of deposits), 20 years.
The starting price of the permit is UAH 2 million 697 thousand.

According to Delo, the auction is being held at the initiative of the company of former MP Volodymyr Prodyvus, which in 2024 bought the only property complex of the state enterprise Belgorod-Dniester Commercial Sea Port. In October, the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture approved the auction of the lot.
Meanwhile, the Artsyzka City Council of Odesa Oblast decided to hold an auction for the privatization of a one-story administrative building with a total area of 127.8 square meters, which, according to the signs, houses the office of the Servant of the People party.
Earlier, the State Property Fund of Ukraine held an auction for the privatization of the Nauka recreation center in Odesa region with a total area of 789.9 square meters. There were 74 bidders for the lot, and due to the high competition, which the Fund called record-breaking, the price increased almost 109 times: from the starting price of UAH 204.4 thousand to the winning price of over UAH 22 million.
