The USPA is looking for a contractor to repair the MNMS-51 in the port of Odesa. They are ready to spend almost UAH 7 million on the work.
According to the Center for Public Investigations, the announcement was published in the Prozorro electronic procurement system.
The customer is the Odesa branch of the State Enterprise "Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority".
Participants have until September 13 to submit their proposals, and the winner will be selected three days later in an open bidding format with special features. The peculiarity of the open bidding is that all the terms are shortened compared to traditional bidding, which is regulated by the Law on Public Procurement. This means that the procurement process is much faster. The total value of the tender is UAH 6 million 720 thousand.
The tender documentation describes in detail the technical and quality requirements for the subject of the procurement, including information on the technical characteristics of the watercraft, quality and quantity. The customer assures that these requirements are consistent with certain articles of the law and are taken into account in the annex to the documentation. All repairs of maritime transport must be completed by the end of 2024.
In addition, the USPA noted that it does not manage budget funds.
Recently, the Odesa branch of the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority announced two tenders to select a company that will overhaul the railroad tracks in the port.
The Mykolaiv Seaport Authority also announced a tender for the reconstruction of furnace, boiler and pumping station equipment. The company plans to spend more than eight and a half million hryvnias from its budget.
In addition, the port plans to repair railroad tracks and switches. The expected cost is over UAH 17 million.
