The most expensive land plot in Mykolaiv region was put up for auction by the Land Bank

The Land Bank has launched a new auction. A total of 137 land plots in 11 regions of Ukraine have become available for sublease. The most expensive plot is in Mykolaiv region.

This was reported by the press service of the Land Bank of Ukraine.

The State Property Fund of Ukraine together with the Land Bank have opened a regular auction for the sublease of 137 land plots. The total area of the plots is 11,119 hectares, which creates new opportunities for Ukrainian farmers.

The highest starting price for a sublease is UAH 4.1 million for a plot in Mykolaiv region, while the lowest is UAH 2,602 in Zhytomyr region.

The offers are as follows:

  • Vinnytsia region - 5 plots (90.51 hectares)
  • Zhytomyr region - 37 plots (1808.7 hectares)
  • Lviv region - 1 land plot (9.52 hectares)
  • Cherkasy region - 1 land plot (128 hectares)
  • Zaporizhzhya region - 14 plots (978.4 hectares)
  • Kirovograd region - 30 plots (3251.9 hectares)
  • Zakarpattia region - 10 plots (163.4 hectares)
  • Odesa region - 1 land plot (12.72 hectares)
  • Kyiv region - 19 plots (1577.6 hectares)
  • Khmelnytsky region - 14 plots (1004 hectares)
  • Mykolaiv region - 5 plots (2094.34 hectares)

The size of the land plots available for sublease varies from 2 to 1186.2 hectares, which allows to find the most suitable for the needs of farmers.

The Land Bank has already held 225 online auctions for sublease of state agricultural land through the Prozorro.Sale system, of which 84 auctions were successfully completed in 10 regions of the country. The total area of all plots put up for auction since the beginning of the project amounted to 15,683 hectares.

Also, 5 land plots in Mykolaiv region became available for use. One of them is over 1000 hectares in size, which is currently the largest plot in the Land Bank's available resource in Ukraine.

  • 1,186.23 hectares, Mykolaiv region, Stepivska rural territorial community.

The date of the first auction in the region is November 25, 2024.

Earlier, as part of the Land Bank project, 18.6 thousand hectares of state-owned agricultural land are going to be leased in Mykolaiv region. These are the lands of the state-owned enterprises Volodymyrske, Reconstruction, Stepove Breeding Farm, Vinohradna Dolyna State Farm, and the Center for Certification and Expertise of Seeds and Garden Material. They will be included in the first pool of land to be leased.

Over the past three years, more than 254,000 transactions on the sale and purchase of Ukrainian agricultural land have been concluded. In total, Ukrainians have purchased half a million hectares of land at an average cost of 41,000 per hectare. In Mykolaiv region, 26,820 hectares of land have been sold over the years. As of 2024, its value is 34.16 thousand hryvnias per hectare.

The value of agricultural land in Ukraine continues to grow. In September 2024, the average price per hectare reached UAH 49,045, which is UAH 1,300 more than in August, when it was UAH 47,739.

According to analysts, since the beginning of 2024, the price of agricultural land in Ukraine has increased by UAH 3,800. The lowest land prices are observed in the following regions: Mykolaiv - 31,051 UAH, Odesa - 32,759 UAH, Sumy - 34,289 UAH, Kharkiv - 35,721 UAH, Donetsk - 36,219 UAH, Chernihiv - 36,651 UAH, Zhytomyr - 41,622 UAH, Kherson - 41,484 UAH.
