Residents of Mykolaiv region received grants to develop their own business

Residents of Mykolaiv region received microgrants to start and develop their own businesses. Detailed information on receiving microgrants is available on the official website of the State Employment Service.
This was reported by the press service of the Bashtanka District State Administration.
Last year, 9 residents of the Bashtanka district received microgrants from the State Employment Service totaling UAH 2 million 207 thousand 851. In particular, two entrepreneurs received UAH 250 thousand each and opened gyms in Bashtanka, creating two new jobs. Another entrepreneur received UAH 150 thousand to expand his business of consulting in the field of informatization and management, and also created a new job.
Another entrepreneur used the grant to set up a fishing station. A service station was also set up in Bashtanka, a shop-cafe in the village of Dobre, and a clothing store in the town of Novyi Buh. A company in Kazanka received funding to expand the telecommunications company's services in the field of grain growing.
In 2024, 12 entrepreneurs and one farm in the district received microgrants to start and develop businesses in areas such as land management, dental practice, retail, crop production, hairdressing, accounting, clothing and accessories, and grain growing.
Among them is the wife of a combat veteran who received UAH 249,800 to produce clothing, and the veteran himself applied for UAH 500,000 to open a clothing store.
In total, about UAH 3 million was allocated for microgrants to support businesses in 2024.
In the summer, the first regional office of Made in Ukraine was opened in Mykolaiv to support small and microbusinesses in the region. The main goal of opening such offices is to support and stimulate the development of entrepreneurship in the region.
In these offices, both existing and future entrepreneurs will be able to receive professional advice, assistance in preparing documents for applying for grants and participating in other government business support programs. They will also have the opportunity to learn about regional programs and projects that can be used simultaneously.
To date, more than 19 thousand new entrepreneurs have opened a sole proprietorship in the south of the country. In total, almost 194 thousand new individual entrepreneurs have been registered in the first eight months of 2024. Since the beginning of the year, 5,096 new sole proprietorships have been registered in Mykolaiv region.
